Co Op Credit Unions: What’s the Deal with Shared Branching?
You CAN Take Us With You
If you travel for work you may need access to your FFCCU accounts. And if you can’t find a surcharge-free ATM, you may end up paying fees (and no one likes to do pay fees to get to their own money!)
Shared Branching between co op credit unions gives you the freedom to access your credit union account across the U.S. and around the world. If you have your account number and photo identification, you’ll have thousands of “home” branches that you can access while you’re traveling. No more out-of-pocket ATM fees, no more regional restrictions. It takes a few steps to get going, but the convenience of having a branch away from home is well worth it!
Business travel can be stressful enough without the added worry of trying to gain access to your accounts when you need it. Take advantage of Shared Branching and you’ll have one less thing to worry about. Who wouldn’t want that?
To find a shared branch, visit www.co-opsharedbranch.org, visit the contact page of the FFCCU website, call 1-800-919-2872, or download the “Find Branch” app for iPhone on the App Store.
Expanded Service to Members Through Co Op Credit Unions
You’re traveling on vacation or you’re going on a business trip. Maybe you’re planning on relocating to another part of the country and have to leave FFCCU behind—or so you think.
Not so! In fact, when you’re on the go, we’re right there with you, with convenient locations across town, around Ohio, nationwide—even in other countries! Co Op Shared branches stretch far and wide and our participating surcharge-free ATM network often overlaps with it.
Thanks to a nationwide network of technology and convenience, now your credit union accounts can be accessed in 44 states across the country where you can take care of all your financial affairs, including:
- Deposits
- Withdrawals
- Transfers
- Balance inquiries
- Statement prints
Co Op Credit Unions get A+ from College Students
Co op credit unions in the shared branch network serve a variety of members. Chances are you joined a credit union because it’s conveniently located near your home or workplace – but that doesn’t always translate to convenience for your family members. That’s especially true if one of those family members is heading away to college this fall.
If your student is going to school in a town where no FFCCU branch is nearby – don’t worry. By finding a Co Op Shared Branch, your student can access a credit union account, just as if they’re at the home branch. Most likely there’s a shared branch near your student’s campus.
There’s no fee to access your credit union accounts at a shared branch. This can save you and your college student money on ATM charges if you can’t find a no-surcharge ATM.
