Visit Us On ICU Day!

Visit your FFCCU branch on October 19, 2017 to celebrate International Credit Union (ICU) Day!

International Credit Union (ICU) Day® has been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948. This year, we’ll be celebrating credit unions and their members on October 19th.

ICU Day is all about getting members engaged to share their experiences and celebrate how credit unions and financial cooperatives have made an impact on their life choices. When we put people before profit, we defend the credit union and cooperative financial institution model worldwide.

This year’s ICU Day theme, “Dreams Thrive Here,” illustrates how credit unions and other financial cooperatives serve as catalysts to make different professions, personal choices and career paths real. Help us celebrate ICU Day any way you can! On October 19th, take to social media to post about how FFCCU or any credit union has helped you achieve your dreams and use #ICUDay. Invite your friends or family members to join a credit union in their area, or join FFCCU!

The goal of ICU Day is to raise awareness about the great work that credit unions are doing around the world and give members the opportunity to get more engaged. The day of festivities for credit unions and financial cooperatives globally include fundraisers, open houses, contests, picnics and parades.

On ICU Day, and every day, we celebrate YOU, our members! Thanks for being a part of FFCCU.

Let us grant your wish!

Through the first half of 2016, according to data collected by the Credit Union National Association, credit union members saved $9.3 billion over what they would have paid at banks: $1.9 billion through higher yields on savings, $1.2 billion on lower fees, and $6.2 billion on lower loan rates. Our members continuously take advantage of this and other perks. Here are a few true stories about how we’ve helped people save. Click on the images to read more!
