Whether you're looking to review your credit history, get out of debt, avoid bankruptcy or start a practical savings plan, advice from a certified counselor is only a phone call away. Specific services, all of which are free for members, include:

Financial Counseling: Speak directly with a counselor or schedule an appointment to create an individual action plan.
Credit Report Counseling: Receive a copy of your credit report for a nominal fee. A counselor can review your credit score or help you resolve inaccurate information.

Financial Network

In order to meet your complete financial needs, FFCCU has made available to you the services of Financial Network Investment Corporation. Through this partnership, all of the financial services you need are made available to you under one roof. With the help of Financial Network's experienced representatives, you can quickly determine the best route to a healthy financial future.

Some of the services available to you through Financial Network include:

Financial Planning

Mutual Funds*, REITs and UITs*, Stocks and Bonds*, Government Securities*, Tax Deferred Variable Annuities*, Variable Universal Life*, Fee-based Financial Planning*, Retirement Planning, Lump Sum Retirement Rollovers and Traditional and Roth IRAs

Asset Preservation and Medicaid Planning
Misinformation regarding Medicaid law is the primary cause of asset loss, as well as impoverishment by seniors needing long-term care. Through proper education and planning, our clients and their family members will not needlessly deplete their entire life savings to minimum levels in an attempt to become eligible for Medicaid.

Tax-deferred Annuities
Tax deferred annuities are offered by insurance carriers. One advantage is tax-deferred growth, regardless of your tax bracket or your earned income. Second, they also bypass probate and pass directly to a beneficiary in the event of the owner's death. Third, a variety of annuities let you choose between the features of a fixed annuity, the growth potential of an indexed annuity, and the mutual fund-like features of a variable annuity*. Let a Financial Network representative help you to decide which is appropriate for you.

College Financial Aid
Are you the parent of a college-bound high school student, or do you have a student in college today? If so, you may be missing out on substantial financial assistance without even knowing it. Not understanding the financial assistance offered today could be costing you thousands of dollars and a better education for your child. Ask how Financial Network’s financial-aid consultants can help you.

Insurance Planning
Financial Network is an independent insurance agency, which means they shop for the best coverage for you out of the numerous carriers they represent. This ensures you will get the policy best suited for you and competitive prices. No need to shop around!

The types of policies available include:
Term Life Insurance, Permanent Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Mortgage Protection Life, Mortgage Protection Disability, Accident, Long-Term Care, Medicare Supplement, Individual Health Plans and Wealth Transfer Policies

Estate Planning
Financial Network works with several attorneys who can help identify what type of estate planning is right for you. Wills, trusts, powers of attorney, living wills and more can be drafted on your behalf. Planners can help coordinate the funding of trusts and change beneficiaries, where necessary, to ensure your wishes are coordinated with your documents. Fees are reasonable and are always quoted before you agree to engage an attorney.

For more information, contact Patrick McDonough or Warren Rogers, our Financial Network Registered Representatives, at 440-838-5534.

*Securities are offered through Financial Network Investment Corporation, a registered broker/dealer and member of the SIPC, not affiliated with Firefighters Community Credit Union. Mutual funds, annuities and other investments available through FNIC are not insured by the FDIC, NCUA or any Federal Government agency, are not deposits or obligations of and are not guaranteed by Firefighters Community Credit Union, or any other affiliated entity.
