There is no minimum balance requirement to open a FFCCU checking account. We also offer overdraft privilege, which covers your overdrafts, up to $500, as long as you maintain an account in good standing. This convenient service allows you to avoid high charges from merchants for returned checks. (We will charge our normal non-sufficient funds or overdraft charges for each item that creates an overdraft on your account. Not all accounts are eligible.)
All accounts are insured up to $250,000 by American Share Insurance, the nation's largest private insurance provider.

One of those being a current, valid driver's license, state ID or passport. The other being a birth certificate, social security card or student ID.
